健診部

健診部は循環器病の疫学研究を通して、私たちの健康長寿を目指します。これまでは脳卒中、虚血性心疾患の対策を立てることが急務でありましたが、最近は世界でも最も高齢化率が高くなり、臓器終末像の疾患対策が必要になってきました。しかし、心不全と認知症の研究はわが国では極めて少なく、その両方を追跡していく研究はわが国ではありません。当センターでは、脳と心臓の専門医のいる病院であり、両者をしっかりと見据えて追跡することから、大変貴重な追跡研究の成果が得られるものと確信しております。

吹田研究NEXT
都市部地域住民を対象とした心不全と認知症をエンドポイントした追跡研究で、これらリスク因子となる感覚器(視覚、聴覚、嗅覚)機能障害も併せて追跡研究を行う。

共創の場形成支援プログラム
産・学・官・民の実質的融合連携ができる「共創の場」を北大阪健康医療都市「健都」に設け、難治性心血管疾患・がん、認知症、新興再興ウイルス感染症を克服できるレジリエントな社会を実現するため、住民参加型バイオコミュニティの形成を目指す研究

国内6つの国立高度専門医療研究センター(ナショナルセンター:NC)の保有する疫学データを統合して、疾患横断的にコホート研究を推進する研究基盤事業である。期待される成果は、
1)疾患横断的研究実施体制の強化
2)疾患横断的予防のためのエビデンスづくりの連携
3)疾患横断的予防のための取り組みの連携
が挙げられます。
