Specific medical examination/longevity medical examination

1) Those who are participating in Suita research

From 1989, for Suita citizens randomly selected based on the Basic Resident Register, research inspection items were added to the primary health examination in cooperation with Suita City and Suita City Medical Association. We have conducted this as a long-term follow-up survey of the subjects. Since 2008, we have been conducting specific medical examinations and medical examinations associated with the medical longevity system in line with the revision of the law. The subjects of this research are asked to undergo a medical examination at the medical examination department once every two years. For inquiries, please contact the Preventive Cardiology Department as before.

2) General examinees

To receive a specific medical examination, you need a medical examination ticket issued by the insurer (health insurance card issuing organization) and a health insurance card. In addition, the status of the contract between the insurer and the medical examination institution will determine whether or not the medical examination can be accepted and how much your out-of-pocket expenses will be. Currently, the Health Examination Department accepts specific medical examinations for dependents of corporate health insurance associations. Depending on the contract status of the insurer, the medical examination department may not be able to handle your medical examination ticket. Please contact your insurer for details on the consultation ticket and out-of-pocket expenses. Please contact the representative if you want to have a medical examination as it is a complete reservation system.

Health guidance

1) Specific health guidance

As with specific medical examinations, we accept specific health guidance from dependents of corporate health insurance associations. To receive health guidance, you need a voucher issued by your insurer. Depending on the contract status of the insurer, we may not be able to handle your voucher. Please contact your insurer for details on vouchers and out-of-pocket expenses. Please contact the representative if you wish, as it will be a complete reservation system.

2) Heart failure aggravation prevention business individual health guidance

Suita City, Suita Medical Association, and National Cardiovascular Research Center, a national research and development corporation, are working on a joint project to prevent heart failure in Suita citizens. While providing new health advice to the citizens, they are suffering from heart failure. We have started a long-term follow-up study on prognostic factors.

Lifelong Health Support 10

The Preventive Cardiovascular Department proposes 10 items to prevent three major lifestyle-related diseases based on epidemiological studies such as the Suita Study as a guideline for a society where all people can spend their lives healthier. We named it "Lifelong Health Support 10".
We will focus on 10 lifestyle-related lifestyles based on evidence, and together we will consider and support specific methods for incorporating "Lifelong Health Support 10"in collaboration with doctors, public health nurses, and managed nutrition.
