Overview
Under the leadership of Dr. Masafumi Ihara, we are dedicated to advancing our understanding and treatment of neurological diseases, including cerebrovascular diseases. Our research endeavors encompass both basic and clinical aspects, focusing on elucidating the pathophysiology, improving diagnostic techniques, and enhancing treatment outcomes.
Notably, our research encompasses a broad spectrum, ranging from cellular experiments utilizing induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), rodent models, and non-human primate models, to clinical studies such as investigator-initiated clinical trials. We pride ourselves on being a distinguished research group globally, engaging in all stages of investigation to combat neurological diseases.
