Application procedure:

(1) Application documents:
　a)　Application (Excel file), proposed research
　b)　Personal Reference
　c)　Publications, Presentations, Awards, (using the
　　　designated Excel forms for documents listed in a) to c).
　　　The forms can be downloaded from the Center’s website.)
　d)　A copy of the medical license (*applicable persons only)
　e)　Employment history (for all past employment)
　f)　Certificate of graduation or certificate of expected
　　   graduation (master’s degree) (*applicable persons only)

(2) Application file submission

    a.　Please send an initial enquiry email to kenzim[at]ml.ncvc.go.jp (replace [at] with @).
            An application file will be sent by return email to the enquiry email address.
    b.    The above application materials a-e in that order should be compiled in a single pdf file under 10MB with
　　   password protection set using a password provided by us.
    c.　Send the above pdf file as an attachment to the email address stated at ‘a’.
    d.　In the event that the pdf file is greater than 10MB, split the files and send as attachments in several emails.
    e.　Applications received at the administration email will be acknowledged by return email. Please contact
          the same administration email at ‘a’ if a return acknowledgment is not received within three business
          working days.

(3) Deadline: 
The application documents must arrive by  January 23rd(Friday), 2026

Screening process:

Primary screening – document screening
Secondary screening – interview (only applicants who passed the primary screening)

Date of secondary screening:

February 9th (Monday), 2026 (*proposed date)
Persons who passed the primary screening shall be notified separately.

Announcement of the screening results:

The persons who passed the screening shall receive a notice  in early March 2026.

Scheduled employment date:

April 1st, 2026
(Note, it may be changed in consideration of overseas applicants and new measures
for limiting coronavirus infection)

Employment period:

The person may be re-employed for a maximum period of three years based on the results of
an annual assessment.

Employment status and compensation:

(1) Employment status:
　  Part-time employee

(2) Working Hours:
      28～31 hours per week

(3) Salary:
      Approx. 150,000~180,000 yen
     *Commuting allowance will be additionally provided

(4) Insurance:
      Health insurance, employees’ pension insurance, employment insurance
     *Employment insurance may not apply depending on your student status, etc.

(5) Dormitory:
      Not provided

Other:

*When submitting an application, be sure to consult in advance the Head of the Department or Office you want to be assigned to (refer the list of departments).

* According to the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Act, etc., sharing of technology may be restricted in cases where profits are obtained from foreign governments, etc. (“Deemed export” control related to security export control)

Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a preliminary investigation, confirm the specific type, and prepare a written pledge regarding deemed export.
