Eligibility Criteria

(1) Must have the experience and knowledge associated with genetics and molecular biology research
(2) Must have the experience and knowledge associated with electrophysiology research
(3) Must be collaborative and passionate about research

On April 1, 2019, Director Naomasa Makita and Laboratory Chief Taisuke Ishikawa were appointed from Nagasaki University. They are focusing on genome research and functional analysis of cardiovascular diseases, including fatal arrhythmia. Updated website coming soon.

One (1) part-time or specially-appointed researcher

Employment Start Date

Term of office is one (1) year from start date; if the start date is in the middle of the month, the term of office will end at the end of the previous month in the next year.

Employment terms

Five (5)-day work week, 31 hours per week Monday - Friday 9:00 to 17:00 (6-7 hour work day, with a 1 hour break) *working times are subject to discussion


Hourly wage: 1,848 yen (subject to change in accordance with experience and education)
Transportation/commuting allowance (to be paid in accordance with the regulations of the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center; commuting by car is not covered)
Payments are made the following month based on performance from the previous month.


Two (2) days per year after three (3) months of employment; additional eight (8) days per year after six (6) months of employment

Health insurance and other benefits

Benefits include social insurance, health insurance, welfare pension, and employment insurance
