Chief Physician of Hypertension and Nephrology

Employment Details

The chief physician is expected to perform specialized diagnoses and research related to hemocatharsis (dialysis), kidney disease, and hypertension, and contribute to medical treatment and knowledge in the fields of kidney disease and hypertension. The chief physician will also be involved in the diagnosis of patients with comorbid conditions such as lifestyle-related and cardiovascular diseases, as well as training other physicians and residents.

We are seeking a chief physician with adequate experience in diagnoses related to hemocatharsis (dialysis), kidney disease, and hypertension, as well as a proven track record in research and a strong desire to participate in academic conferences and train young physicians. Specialty certifications in general medicine, dialysis, nephrology, or hypertension is an asset.

Employment Start Date (term of office)

May 1, 2019 (negotiations possible)
Term of office is five (5) years from start date (renewals possible based on performance)

    Limit conference presentations to special or invited lectures, and symposia presentations.

Salary and benefits

  • Salary: paid in accordance with the regulations of the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center
  • Eligibility for raise: once annually
  • Eligibility for bonus: twice annually (in June and December)
  • Allowances: transportation/commute, lodging, dependent support, overtime compensation, etc.
  • Employment terms: five (5)-day work week
  • Vacations: annual paid leave 20 days; special leave allowed for summer holidays, weddings, and before/after birth of a child
  • Severance pay: eligible if departing after six (6) months of employment
  • Other benefits: health, life insurance, labor insurance
