Employment Details

The Division of Radiology is involved in image-based diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases; vascular diseases that include the aorta, pulmonary arteries, and peripheral blood vessels; and cerebrovascular diseases, using CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine. Furthermore, the Division is also responsible for performing catheter surgeries of the aorta and pulmonary arteries. The Division is involved in developing novel, advanced devices for image-based diagnosis and research into clinical applications of treatment technologies and methodologies. We are seeking a diagnostic radiology specialist (or radiology specialist expecting to receive certification as a diagnostic radiology specialist this year) who has a vested interest in image-based diagnosis of cardiovascular and neurological diseases using CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine, as well as research activities related to vascular disease. The physician should have the people-skills necessary to build positive relationships with other divisions in the Hospital.

Term of office is five (5) years from start date

  1. Resume (Attachment 1~6) Choose three (3) original articles and attach one (1) reprint and seven (7) copies of each publication.

  3. Copy of medical license
  4. Copy of proof of clinical training program completion (for those who obtained their medical license after April 2004)
  5. Copy of proof of graduation from university
  6. Copy of university diploma (Master, PhD)
  7. Copy of proof of appointment as a specialist, certified physician, or medical advisor

Salary and benefits

  • Salary: paid in accordance with the regulations of the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center
  • Eligibility for raise: once annually
  • Eligibility for bonus: twice annually (in June and December)
  • Allowances: transportation/commute, lodging, dependent support, etc.
  • Employment terms: five (5)-day work week
  • Vacations: annual paid leave 20 days; special leave allowed for summer holidays, weddings, and before/after birth of a child
  • Severance pay: eligible if departing after six (6) months of employment
  • Other benefits: health, life insurance, labor insurance
