Cardiovascular Surgeon

Employment Details

The primary functions of the cardiovascular surgeon are to provide consultations about matters related to cardiovascular surgery, train residents and specialists, conduct clinical research, and manage patients before and after cardiovascular surgery. The cardiovascular surgeon will be expected to engage in multicenter collaborative studies funded by public research grants, joint studies with other departments of the Hospital and Research Institute, as well as translational studies. Experience and knowledge related to surgery for severe heart failure and minimally invasive cardiac surgery is desired.

Employment Start Date (term of office)

July 1, 2019 (negotiations possible)
Term of office is five (5) years from start date (renewals possible based on performance)

    Clearly distinguish between original articles, case reports, review articles, and books by year.
    Limit conference presentations to special or invited lectures, and symposia presentations.
    Choose three (3) original articles and attach one (1) reprint and six (6) copies of each publication.

  5. Copy of medical license
  6. Copy of proof of clinical training program completion (for those who obtained their medical license after April 2004)
  7. Copy of proof of graduation from university
  8. Copy of university diploma (Master, PhD)
  9. Copy of proof of appointment as a specialist, certified physician, or medical advisor

Salary and benefits

  • Salary: paid in accordance with the regulations of the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center
  • Eligibility for raise: once annually
  • Eligibility for bonus: twice annually (in June and December)
  • Allowances: transportation/commute, lodging, dependent support, etc.
  • Employment terms: five (5)-day work week
  • Vacations: annual paid leave 20 days; special leave allowed for summer holidays, weddings, and before/after birth of a child
  • Severance pay: eligible if departing after six (6) months of employment
  • Other benefits: health, life insurance, labor insurance
