National Hospital Organization Hakodate National Hospital

A general hospital with 350 patient beds founded in 1978, and it works as one of local cardiovascular centers. It is located in the eastern center of Hakodate City of 3 hundred thousand people, in front of the eastern newly developed residential area. Since it is easy to access here, patients are from all Donan area (within the jurisdiction of Oshima, Hiyama branch office).

National Hospital Organization Sendai Medical Center

A general hospital with 690 patient beds founded in 1945, and it works as one of local cardiovascular centers. It is located in the east of Sendai City of 9.3 hundred thousand people, adjoining the green belt of the prefectural all-round stadium. It is convenient to take Sendai Bypass and Route 45 to Shiogama City. Patients are from 6 prefectures of Tohoku district.

National Hospital Organization Saitama National Hospital

A general hospital with 335 patient beds founded in 1945, and it works as one of local cardiovascular centers. It is located in the southwest of Saitama Prefecture where the bypass of highway 254 crosses the prefectural highway route 37. The housing development such as the Japan Housing Corporation (600 households), Nishi-yamato housing development (1,500 households), Minami-yamato housing development (500 households) and Nerima Hikarigaoka housing development (12,000 households) around here are forming the bedroom town of Tokyo.

National Hospital Organization Shizuoka Medical Center

A general hospital with 455 patient beds founded in 1967, and it works as one of local cardiovascular centers. It is located at Shimizu-cho, Sunto between Numazu City of 2.1 hundred thousand people and Mishima City of 1.1 hundred thousand people. It is the good location for access since it is near the highway route 1 and the former Tokaido way and has residential and industrial areas around here. As this area is the designated industrial area of East Suruga Bay, patients from further areas will be expected in the future.

National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center

A national highly specialized medical center with 640 patient beds founded in 1977. It is located in the Senri New Town, 30 minutes drive from the down town of Osaka. Surrounded by Expo Park, Suita Campus of Osaka University, etc. it is very suitable circumstance for treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

National Hospital Organization Osaka National Hospital

The hospital was founded in 1945, moved to the current place in 1947, and is a hospital with 710 beds, working as one of local cardiovascular centers and integrated general medical centers. It is located in the center of Osaka City, near the Osaka Castle, and by the ruins of Naniwa-no-miya, one of the ancient Imperial Courts. As the subway station of Tanimachi line and Chuo line and the exit of Hanshin Expressway are nearby, it is easy to access here. Patients come from not only Osaka City area but also Osaka Prefectural area and other prefectures including Nara and Hyogo.

National Hospital Organization Osaka Minami Medical Center

Founded as the National Osaka Hospital in 1945, it became the Branch of National Osaka Hospital at Nagano in 1947, and the National Osaka Minami Hospital in 1965. It is a general hospital with 550 patient beds, and works as one of local cardiovascular centers. It is located in the north of Kawachinagano City of 11 million people of which neighboring towns have been developed as the residential area. As it is convenient to access here, patients are from southern Osaka, northern Wakayama and western Nara. The population of this area is increasing year by year, and it is estimated about 2 million at the present.

National Hospital Organization Okayama Medical Center

This is a general hospital with 585 patient beds founded in 1945, and works as one of local cardiovascular centers. It is located at a little bit northern part from the center of Okayama City of 5.8 hundred thousand people, which is the quiet area surrounded by government offices and residences. It is convenient to access here by public bus network. Patients are from all parts of Okayama and neighboring prefectures.

National Hospital Organization Zentsuji National Hospital

This is a general hospital with 351 patient beds founded in 1945, and works as one of local cardiovascular centers. It is located in the center of Zentsuji City of 4 hundred thousand people, which is surrounded by the residential area. It also works of the principal general hospital in this area since it is convenient to access here and patients are from the most parts of southern Kagawa. Because the Seto Ohashi Bridge and the Shikoku Crossing Highway has been opened to traffic, patients who need emergency care from distant area will be accepted.

National Hospital Organization Kagoshima Medecal Center

This facility is a general hospital having 300 bed for in-hospital patients. It started as a national hospital of Kagoshima from 1945 and moved to the present site in 1981. It has been working as a regional cardiovascular center since then. It locates in the same site of the former Private School at the eastern foot of Shiroyama terrace and near the central district of Kagoshima City whose population is above half a million. It is very close to the Kinko Bay and is also facing to Sakurajima. There remains the marks of bullets on the stone walls surrounding the hospital, and they have been telling us the history of the Seinan War. There is the government office quarter around here where we can see such as the prefectural library, the joint office building and the regional law court. It has good environment and superiority in gaining access to. It gives medical service of high quality in wide area in Kagoshima as the regional cardiovascular center.

Shizuoka Children's Hospital

Shizuoka Children's Hospital is a special hospital for sick children with 200 beds.It locates in the north east of Shizuoka city and stands at the bosom of a hill lying on the south end tip of the mountains joining with the Japan South Alps. We have many advantages to minimize the pain and strain felt by children being in the hospital by giving them the treatment at the highest level. Since its establishment in 1977, our hospital has played a central role in health care for children in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Iwate Medical University Memorial Heart Center

A highly specialized cardiovascular medical center with 115 patients beds was founded in 1997. It is located in the central area of Morioka City which has a population of 2.8 hundred thousands. Morioka is about 500 kilometers from Tokyo and it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes by the Tohoku Shinkansen (Bullet Train). We hope MHC is a widely opened facility of the cardiovascular medicine in the northern area of Japan.
